Welcome to Life Learning Institute's
Family Resource Center for Tehama and Shasta Counties*.

Many local agencies offer many ways to help parents and their children. LLI Family Skills Training offers counseling and classes to partner with parents who want to preserve and improve relationships with their children. *********** Life Learning Institute offers sessions for families in their own homes. We work with story-telling, dreams, art, and other dynamics that create opportunities for family dialogue about values, behaviors, and other issues. We also offere family relationship-building classes comprised of several families. Topics include conflict resolution, anger management, listening, and communication skills. Counseling and classes are conducted by Connie Herman, Master of Arts in Psychology.

Ms. Herman is completing her Doctorate in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She has taught parenting skills and work life balance for over 25 years.

IN HOME COUNSELING AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING - AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES WHO COMPLETE APPLICATION FOR IN-HOME SESSIONS.

~ Teen group sessions

~ Classes: Classes are open to groups of parents and to parents and their teen age children.

*Services offered by LLI Family Resource Center are not eligible for third party payment. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
